G’day, Fellow Explorers!

After a chilly but blissful weekend of leadership fun at the charming Putney Student Travel barn in Vermont, our Cultural Exploration trip in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji has begun to take off. We have gone through the nitty-gritty details of the trip and we are beyond excited to meet you all and start our excursion of epic proportions!

Over the next couple of weeks, make sure to gather all the necessities from the packing list. Pick up a couple of resources from the reading list and start to dive into the culture of all the amazing places we will visit. Everyone on the trip will also work on an independent project—something that sparks your interest that you can study deeper and share with the group or the world in some way—so start exercising that curiosity now! Perhaps your subject will be found underwater on the reefs of Australia or Fiji, on the farms or ski slopes of New Zealand, or in the village life of Fiji. There will be so much culture and adventure to draw from!

We can’t wait to take it all in, get outside of comfort zones, and have a blast!
